Civil Engineer II – Site Support & Design

About the role

The Civil Engineer II provides on‑site engineering support for civil and infrastructure works in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Civil and Structural Design / Technical Manager, the role assists with design coordination, shop‑drawing reviews, and technical issue resolution to ensure construction aligns with approved specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Address daily construction queries, RFIs and technical clarifications on site.
• Review roads, pavements, drainage, utilities and external works for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Identify and report site discrepancies, non‑conformances and coordinate with architectural, structural, MEPF and temporary works teams.
• Prepare sketches, mark‑ups and simple civil drawings (e.g., utility diversions, temporary works layouts) using AutoCAD/Revit/Civil 3D.
• Support shop‑drawing, material submittal and method‑statement reviews, and assist in preparing technical comments.
• Assist in responding to RFIs, technical queries, and close‑out of NCRs and quality issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in site‑based civil engineering, preferably on infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work under the guidance of senior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
