Civil Inspector – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Inspector to oversee infrastructure and road‑work projects. The role involves ensuring that contractors adhere to contract specifications, approved drawings, and established methodologies while providing daily progress reports to management.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out inspections on all road works in progress and verify compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.
• Monitor contractor progress on road activities and deliver daily reports to line management.
• Inspect, check, and record that work is executed according to approved methodologies.
• Confirm that site instructions are followed and report findings to the Resident Engineer.
• Check service locations and ensure their protection throughout the project.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in civil/road infrastructure inspection.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Integrity, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the project team.
