Civil Site Manager – Yanbu

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to lead the civil works for a major EPC project in Yanbu. The role involves overseeing early site preparation, coordinating with contractors and authorities, and ensuring safe, on‑time delivery of civil construction.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate contractor site investigations and early surveys (geotechnical, topographical, hydrological).
• Oversee site clearing, grading, access roads, temporary facilities, drainage, utilities and readiness for mobilisation.
• Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to secure permits and smooth site operations.
• Maintain daily logbooks, prepare concise civil site updates and track issues, risks and actions.
• Supervise construction activities including excavation, foundations, concrete works, underground utilities, roads, drainage and temporary works.
• Verify design compliance with contract specifications, codes and standards; conduct design review meetings.
• Ensure EPC contractor adherence to HSE rules and monitor execution against schedule, cost and quality targets.
• Coordinate closely with EPC contractor, subcontractors, Owner’s Engineer, QA/QC, HSE, engineering, procurement and project controls teams.
• Resolve technical issues in line with local and international codes; anticipate site constraints and drive practical solutions.
• Manage hand‑over processes from EPC contractor to the O&M company.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing civil construction sites on large EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of local and international civil engineering codes and standards.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, including authorities, contractors and engineering teams.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills to keep project leadership informed.
• Hands‑on experience with site HSE compliance and risk management.
