Clinical Nurse Educator

About the role

The Clinical Nurse Educator will lead the development and delivery of nursing education programs in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This position focuses on enhancing clinical knowledge, skills, and professional competencies of nursing staff to support patient safety, quality improvement and evidence‑based practice.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate nursing education, training, orientation and competency programmes.
• Identify learning and development needs and implement targeted educational initiatives.
• Develop competency assessment tools and provide feedback to support staff development.
• Lead orientation, mentorship and preceptorship programmes for new and existing nurses.
• Promote evidence‑based practice, critical thinking and a culture of continuous learning.
• Provide clinical guidance and act as a subject‑matter expert within nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, policy development, accreditation readiness and clinical practice enhancement.
• Participate in nursing committees, projects, system improvements and evaluation of new technologies and clinical workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s Degree and/or clinical teaching qualification preferred.
• Current professional Registered Nurse licence.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant nursing experience with strong clinical and educational background.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Arabic is preferred.
