Clinical Risk Manager

About the role

The Clinical Risk Manager will lead the design, implementation and continuous monitoring of quality, patient safety and clinical risk initiatives across the medical division. This role ensures that all healthcare services meet regulatory standards and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee quality improvement, patient safety and clinical risk management programs aligned with organizational policies.
• Identify, assess and mitigate clinical and non‑clinical risks for patients, caregivers and staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and allied health professionals to implement clinical quality indicators and performance metrics.
• Maintain compliance with the Quality Management System, update documentation and ensure adherence to national and international standards.
• Plan, conduct and report internal and external audits covering clinical quality, safety, governance, patient experience and staff credentialing.
• Promote a transparent safety culture, facilitate incident reporting, Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and Hazard Vulnerability Assessments.
• Prepare dashboards, performance summaries and consolidated reports for leadership, committees and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in clinical risk management, patient safety or healthcare quality assurance.
• Strong analytical abilities and proven track record of leading audits and improvement projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of national and international healthcare standards and accreditation processes.
