Cloud Computing Center of Excellence Director

About the role

The Cloud Computing Center of Excellence (CCoE) Director leads the strategic direction and implementation of cloud initiatives across the organization. This senior position works closely with cross‑functional teams to establish best practices, governance frameworks and adoption pathways that align cloud solutions with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the IT Planning and Management business plan, ensuring alignment with ZATCA strategy.
• Investigate, propose and implement initiatives that generate financial benefits and mitigate operational risks related to cloud computing.
• Define ZATCA IT & Digitization service offerings and maintain an up‑to‑date service catalog in collaboration with business users and IT stakeholders.
• Oversee the Cloud Computing CoE portfolio to meet business requirements and customer needs.
• Participate in talent identification, recruitment and onboarding of key personnel.
• Guide, mentor and support direct reports to ensure execution according to policies and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (required).
• Master’s degree in IT Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong competencies in collaboration, customer focus, team development, change enablement, leadership, operational excellence, professionalism, results orientation and strategic thinking.
