Cloud DevOps Expert

About the role

The Cloud DevOps Expert will design, build and manage automation frameworks across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will create reusable Infrastructure‑as‑Code modules, integrate them with CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure, scalable, and cost‑effective cloud operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Terraform modules for OCI and GCP.
• Integrate Terraform automation with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, OCI DevOps and Cloud Build.
• Apply Policy‑as‑Code using OPA, Sentinel and governance guardrails.
• Build and operate multi‑cloud workloads including compute, networking, storage, identity and load balancers.
• Manage Kubernetes platforms (OKE and GKE) and automate cluster deployments.
• Implement secure provisioning, multi‑region architecture and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for both application and infrastructure code, including testing, linting, plan validation and security scanning.
• Apply IAM best practices, KMS/CMEK, audit logging, network segmentation and secrets management.
• Configure monitoring dashboards, alerts and logging; support incident response and performance optimisation.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as subject‑matter expert for DevOps, OCI and GCP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of DevOps experience with at least 5 years on OCI and GCP.
• Professional certifications preferred (Terraform Associate, OCI Architect, OCI DevOps, Google Cloud DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Architect).
