Cluster IT Coordinator

About the role

The Cluster IT Coordinator will oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure across the Ummahat Island cluster. This role ensures reliable network, server, and workstation performance while supporting end‑users in a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and repair computer networks, LAN/WAN and internet connections.
• Maintain and support server systems, workstations, telephone rooms and user accounts.
• Provide end‑user training on system usage and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating major problems to vendors when necessary.
• Plan and execute equipment moves, additions, changes and system enhancements.
• Implement network security measures and manage backup procedures, ensuring tapes are stored securely.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all technological devices and manage network disk space.
• Follow company policies, report safety incidents and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lb and work in various physical conditions.
