CME Operational Performance Director

About the role

The CME Operational Performance Director leads profitability and operational excellence across the CME region for Bureau Veritas. The role oversees a team of Area Performance Directors, driving process improvement, digital transformation, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Set annual profitability targets and launch prioritized process‑improvement projects to meet group performance goals.
• Lead digital system deployment, including Tableau dashboards and TIQ/Performance KPI visualisation, in partnership with the DxT team.
• Guide Area Performance Directors and support staff in executing improvement initiatives and monitoring adoption.
• Identify and implement shared‑service or resource‑transfer alternatives to optimise production capacity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in testing, inspection, or certification activities.
• Proven track record applying lean methods (5S, Kaizen, VSM, Hoshin Kanri) with measurable financial and behavioural results.
• Strong leadership, team‑building, coaching and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Office 365 proficiency.
• Experience with Tableau for digital cockpit creation.
• Project management certification or demonstrable experience.
