Co-op / Internship Program – Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS and Procurement

About the role

GE Vernova offers a co-op / internship program of up to 28 weeks (about 7 months) for students who want hands-on experience and mentorship. Participants work on projects aligned with their major, collaborate with experienced professionals and develop leadership and communication skills. Candidates are matched to opportunities based on their academic background and interests.

Key responsibilities

• Materials & Operations: material scheduling, inventory management, lean initiatives, process improvement and system optimization
• Engineering & Continuous Improvement: project engineering, time studies, root cause analysis and Lean/Kaizen projects
• Sales & Services Support: CRM data, sales processes, customer service, parts delivery and outage planning
• Site Construction & Commissioning: site planning, progress tracking, subcontractor coordination and safety compliance
• EHS Trainee: EHS monitoring, inspections, compliance and awareness campaigns on site
• Procurement Trainee: purchase orders, vendor management, cost analysis and project material coordination
• Field Engineer: support support, resource and sourcing teams, including outage readiness, cost tracking and resource planning

Required profile

• Student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Production, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil), Supply Chain Management, Environment, Health & Safety, a related STEM field, Business Administration or a related management field, or a diploma in Environment, Health & Safety
• Interest in EHS and quality standards, demonstrated leadership potential and a proactive, adaptable mindset
• Basic understanding of construction safety principles and site hazards such as lifting, working at height, electrical work and confined spaces
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, site-based environment and willingness to travel across Saudi Arabia for project exposure
