Collection Officer

About the role

BRKZ, a Saudi construction-tech startup, is hiring a Collection Officer in Riyadh and Dammam. The role ensures timely payments from clients by delivering invoices, statements of account and confirming balances, supporting both the company's financial health and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver company invoices to the right departments within each client's facility and make sure they and their attachments are complete and accurate.
• Distribute monthly statements of account to clients and confirm that invoices are correctly recorded in their books.
• Schedule and collect payments (transfers, cheques and cash) and follow up with clients to ensure timely preparation.
• Arrange quarterly balance confirmations with clients.
• Send bank deposit slips to the branch accountant for reconciliation and record delivery and payment details for every transaction.
• Maintain professional financial relationships with clients and help resolve issues.
• Work with other commercial functions to meet daily business needs.

Required profile

• More than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction, construction technology or related sectors.
• Good command of English.
• Knowledge of local market dynamics.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and professionalism when handling challenges.
