Commercial Director – Major Landmark Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to lead commercial strategy and procurement for a high‑profile landmark development in Riyadh. The role will initially focus on pre‑contract activities and evolve into full commercial management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategy for the development.
• Lead procurement processes and manage commercial packages from early works to finishes, MEP and track works.
• Oversee contract administration, cost control and risk management across the full project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with design, engineering and construction teams to ensure timely package delivery.
• Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders to secure favourable terms.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in a commercial leadership role within a Tier 1 construction contractor.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale, high‑value construction projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience managing complex packages from procurement through to completion.

Required skills

• Expertise in procurement and commercial package delivery.
• Knowledge of pre‑contract and post‑contract commercial processes.
