Commercial Manager - Beauty

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer with over 10 owned brands and more than 400 international names across beauty, fashion, jewellery, watches and eyewear, is looking for a Commercial Manager for its beauty business in Jeddah. The role drives commercial performance, customer, partnership and people experience across the network of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute brand strategy across the customer network and partner with Marketing and Brand to roll out commercial initiatives
• Align with Commercial teams on annual sales planning and targets, and consolidate KSA sales, spending and CTP overview
• Consolidate price structures per brand and customer, and suggest profitability improvements through contract adjustments with trade or Exw negotiations with suppliers
• Monitor discounts, margins and profitability, and track sell-out performance and stock levels while managing shortages and risks
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and performance insights, and identify market opportunities
• Deliver quantitative and qualitative data-driven commercial reports and set and monitor individual and team sales targets
• Own and manage the brand, customer and channel P&L, evaluate brand performance and recommend strategic actions such as pricing and NPD strategies
• Manage resources within approved budgets, provide timely financial updates to management and foster cross-functional collaboration

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Background in FMCG, preferably within the beauty industry
• Strong market awareness with a hands-on, field-oriented approach
• Proven commercial mindset with solid financial acumen
