Commercial Manager – Major Project in Riyadh

About the role

This Commercial Manager position supports a leading delivery partner on a high‑profile development in Riyadh. You will be responsible for commercial control throughout the full project lifecycle, from pre‑contract planning to post‑contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑contract activities including procurement, tendering and cost planning.
• Oversee post‑contract functions such as contract administration, variations, and claims.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure commercial objectives are met.
• Provide clear commercial advice to senior stakeholders and challenge decisions when necessary.
• Maintain commercial control and support successful delivery of the complex project.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in both pre‑ and post‑contract commercial management.
• Proven delivery experience on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Background with a delivery partner, consultancy or PMC.
• Knowledge of procurement, tendering, cost planning, contract administration, variations and claims.
• Confident in managing contractors and advising senior client stakeholders.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East is beneficial.
