Commercial Manager (Quantity Surveying)

About the role

TDG is seeking a Commercial Manager with a strong quantity surveying background to own cost certainty across its development portfolio. This hands‑on role spans the full project lifecycle—from feasibility cost planning through tendering, award, and final account—providing an independent commercial view that stays in‑house.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost plans at concept, scheme and detailed design stages, benchmarking against KSA construction rates.
• Produce elemental cost breakdowns to support value engineering and assess design change impacts early.
• Prepare, review and interrogate bills of quantities, ensuring accuracy before acceptance.
• Lead the end‑to‑end tender process, including documentation, pricing schedules, queries and bid levelling.
• Collaborate with Development for feasibility inputs and with Finance for cash‑flow and accruals.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of commercial quantity surveying experience in real‑estate or construction projects.
• Proven ability to work independently, delivering cost plans and tender packages without reliance on external consultants.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimisation and risk mitigation.
