About the role
A Commis 3 position in Makkah under the Tamayyaz nationalisation programme, which trains Saudi talent in hospitality through classroom learning and on-the-job training. The role is full-time and open only to Saudi nationals.
Key responsibilities
- Rotate old and new stock and receive and store products properly
- Learn to prepare every dish on the menu and follow Pullman standards in food preparation
- Practice safe food handling and keep the station sanitary and clean
- Prepare vegetables and trim meats, measure ingredients and portion sizes
- Set up the station before each service and prepare it and the food for anticipated needs
- Create requisitions for items at the station and understand the organisation of the kitchen and its stations
- Keep up with the latest culinary trends and techniques of the station
- Show complete loyalty to the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef
Required profile
- Must be Saudi
- Experience or training in the same field
