Communication Research and Analysis Director

About the role

The Communication Research and Analysis Director leads the communication research function at ZATCA, overseeing data collection, analysis, and marketing planning to raise awareness of the Authority’s services. The role ensures alignment with ZATCA’s strategic objectives and drives performance management and reporting across all communication initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the operational plan for communication research and analysis in line with the Awareness business plan and corporate strategy.
• Manage budgeting for the function, monitor utilization, and propose initiatives that deliver financial impact and mitigate risks.
• Lead local and global research and benchmarking studies to identify trends, best practices, and target customer behaviours for marketing strategy development.
• Oversee the creation of communication strategies, annual advertising and campaign plans, and set KPIs to monitor performance.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns across social media platforms, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare sentiment and personality analysis reports for high‑level events and monitor media crises, coordinating rapid response plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field (required); Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to develop strategic plans, manage budgets, and lead research initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision making and performance monitoring.
