Compact Core Project Manager

About the role

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Compact Core Project Manager to lead the delivery of compact, virtualized core network solutions for enterprise, private, and rapid‑deployment scenarios. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure successful integration of LTE/5G core platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of compact core network projects, defining scope, timelines, budget and resources.
• Manage deployment of EPC and 5G Core (5GC) components, including private LTE/5G networks.
• Coordinate with core network engineers, RAN teams, and IT/cloud specialists.
• Oversee system integration with RAN, transmission/backhaul, and OSS/BSS platforms.
• Handle installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and compliance with telecom standards and cybersecurity.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies; manage vendors and third‑party partners.
• Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, IT or related field.
• Proven experience in telecom project management, especially core networks.
• Strong understanding of LTE/5G core architecture and virtualization (NFV/Cloud).
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
