Construction Engineer – Civil & Structures (Ops Village)

About the role

The Construction Engineer will support the Construction Manager in delivering a new operational village for the Ar Rjum gold project in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring that construction activities meet scope, schedule, quality, safety and environmental requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor installation contractors' performance, project status, schedule, cost control and change management.
• Lead constructability reviews and optimise construction sequencing, logistics and methodology.
• Coordinate with engineering and design consultants to align construction requirements with design deliverables.
• Support development of site layouts, temporary works strategies, logistics and phasing plans.
• Develop overall construction execution plans, resource strategies and resource estimates.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain to create construction packaging and delivery strategies.
• Embed health, safety and environmental considerations into design and planning.
• Review and monitor implementation of quality control plans during design and construction phases.

Required profile

• Ability to support the Construction Manager in a complex, multi‑disciplinary project environment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and schedule adherence.
• Experience working with installation contractors and coordinating with engineering teams.
