Construction Manager - High-Rise Projects

About the role

A reputable construction company in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Construction Manager for a permanent position in Riyadh. The role covers construction execution, quality, safety, procurement, logistics and administration across the Riyadh region, leading daily site operations while civil, electrical, mechanical and architectural engineers act as the contractor's direct delivery engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction operations across civil, electrical, mechanical and architectural disciplines on site.
• Manage and coordinate senior and junior discipline engineers so that works follow approved drawings, schedule, budget and quality/safety standards.
• Act as the main link between the Project Director and the site engineering teams, escalating critical issues and decisions.
• Plan and allocate manpower, equipment and resources across work fronts to meet the project schedule.
• Monitor progress against the master schedule and drive corrective action for delays or under-performance.
• Ensure formal site inspections are completed at every stage before sign-off and progression.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary sequencing and resolve site-level conflicts between disciplines.
• Oversee direct labour crews and/or subcontractors, ensuring productivity and workmanship standards.
• Work with procurement, logistics and quality/safety teams, and report progress, risks and issues regularly to the Project Director.

Required profile

• 15 years of overall experience.
• Practical ability to oversee construction on tower and high-rise projects.
• Experience coordinating site operations, schedules and day-to-day construction work.
• Ability to monitor project progress and respond to site delivery requirements.
• Knowledge of planning labour, materials and equipment for construction.
• Ability to keep accurate construction records and give clear project updates.
• Experience working with project stakeholders to coordinate construction requirements.
