Construction Manager – Mega Civil Projects (Roads/Bridges/Tunnels)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale civil infrastructure projects in Riyadh. The role focuses on roads, highways, bridges and tunnels within urban environments, ensuring that construction packages are executed on schedule, to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee logistical requirements of the assigned construction package.
• Delegate work to the site team and allocate responsibilities.
• Meet regularly with contractors, third parties and other managers to report progress.
• Set targets, objectives and responsibilities for supervised staff.
• Review timings, budget, labor, risk and project plans to keep work on track.
• Define and agree on works acceptance criteria.
• Conduct site visits to inspect work, verify materials and ensure health‑safety compliance.
• Mitigate unforeseen issues and minimise their impact.
• Deliver high‑quality work within contract timescales.
• Work both in the office and on the construction site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with a focus on project management.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience on mega construction projects, especially road, highway, bridge or tunnel works.
• Consultancy background; exclusive contractor experience will not be considered.
• Strong understanding of construction, design and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with local regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent communication, report writing and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a multinational environment.
• Transferable Iqama (for non‑Saudis) and valid SCE membership.
• Based in Riyadh.
