Contract Manager – Mechanical Oil & Gas

About the role

An experienced Contract Manager is needed to support a leading international contractor on a large‑scale gas processing plant in Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing all contract‑related activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring commercial and legal compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead administration of contracts, sub‑contracts and supplier agreements across the EPC project.
• Review, negotiate and manage EPC contracts in line with international standards such as FIDIC.
• Provide strategic contractual advice to project leadership and commercial teams.
• Identify, assess and mitigate contractual risks and opportunities.
• Manage claims, variations and dispute‑resolution processes.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, local regulations and company policies.
• Support procurement and project controls teams during contract execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in contract management on large‑scale mechanical oil & gas developments.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts and international contracting standards (e.g., FIDIC).
• Proven expertise in claims management, contract interpretation and commercial negotiation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
