Contracts Manager – King Salman Park Project

About the role

WSP is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the contractual and commercial management of the prestigious King Salman Park project in Riyadh. The role ensures compliance with contract terms, minimizes risk exposure, and supports the successful delivery of this major urban development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all contracts and commercial aspects of the construction project, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Director to certify invoices from contractors and subcontractors.
• Develop strategic responses to contractor correspondence to limit contractual exposure.
• Handle contractual letters, notices, claims, and disputes, coordinating with legal counsel as needed.
• Review claims and Extension of Time (EOT) requests, providing recommendations on their validity.
• Manage variations, change orders, and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
• Provide contractual advice to project teams and participate in negotiations.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all contracts and related records.
• Stay updated on market conditions, industry trends, and best practices in contract management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business, or Law.
• Minimum 15 years of contract management experience in the construction industry.
• Proven track record managing complex contracts and strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high accuracy.
• Experience in PMC roles on major infrastructure or urban development projects in the Middle East is highly desirable.
