Contracts Manager (Pre Award)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Contracts Manager – Pre‑Award to lead all pre‑award contractual and commercial activities for solar EPC projects in Riyadh. The role involves close collaboration with bid teams, legal, engineering, finance and supply chain functions to ensure robust contract strategies and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑contract and tendering activities for procurement packages such as modules, inverters, BOS, trackers, civil & electrical works, O&M and logistics.
• Review RFQs, RFPs and tender documents, ensuring clear commercial and contractual terms.
• Support bid teams during techno‑commercial evaluations and negotiations.
• Draft, review and negotiate EPC subcontracts, supply agreements, framework agreements and service contracts, covering scope, pricing, schedules, LDs, warranties, payment terms, change management and risk allocation.
• Coordinate with Legal, Engineering, Project, Finance and SCM teams throughout negotiations.
• Identify contractual and commercial risks, propose mitigation measures and ensure alignment with client contracts.
• Assist in finalising contract value, payment milestones and securities (BGs, LC, retention).

Required profile

• 6–12 years of contracts management experience, preferably in solar EPC, renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Commerce or Business Administration; postgraduate qualification in Contract Management or Construction Law is a plus.
• Strong exposure to pre‑contracts, procurement contracts and subcontracting.
