Corporate Credit Executive Manager

About the role

The Corporate Credit Executive Manager will lead the assessment and approval of corporate credit applications, ensuring that credit risk is accurately measured and mitigated. This role supports the bank’s commitment to sound credit practices while fostering strong relationships with corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify corporate credit applications for accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Analyse financial statements and credit data to evaluate risk and recommend appropriate credit decisions.
• Validate and adjust client internal ratings within the bank’s rating system.
• Ensure timely processing of applications and adherence to credit policies, procedures, and anti‑fraud controls.
• Monitor delinquent accounts, recommend payment plans, and support collection activities.
• Provide technical guidance to staff on complex credit issues and drive continuous improvement of credit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in credit risk within a peer banking environment.
• Strong analytical and evaluation skills with a focus on risk mitigation.
• Effective communication abilities to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
