Cybersecurity Consultant / Engineer

About the role

CCDS is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant/Engineer to shape and support operational cybersecurity practices across governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) and network security. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to improve security controls, increase risk visibility, and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GRC and network security operational controls and procedures.
• Monitor security controls, investigate findings, and drive timely remediation actions.
• Prepare operational security reports, risk updates, and documentation on control effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information security, or a related field.
• Hands‑on knowledge of security controls and risk assessments.
• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity GRC or operations.
• Experience reporting on security controls and assessing control effectiveness.
• Proven ability to investigate security findings and coordinate remediation across technical teams.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and PCI‑DSS.
• Experience working with auditors, compliance teams, risk owners, and senior leadership.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or ISO 27001 are a plus.
