Cybersecurity Risk & Compliance Lead – Saudi Arabia

Join a transformative team at AWS and play a pivotal role in shaping Saudi Arabia's digital security landscape. You will interpret complex cybersecurity regulations, develop compliance frameworks, and bridge global cloud technology with local regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and implement Saudi cybersecurity regulations (NCA, SAMA).
• Develop regional cybersecurity policies aligned with local requirements.
• Manage regional risk register and risk treatment plans.
• Coordinate risk assessments and risk acceptance processes with local, regional, and global teams.
• Establish relationships with regulatory bodies and prepare regulatory submissions.
• Serve as regulatory expert to AWS, customers, auditors, and regulators.
• Anticipate new KSA cybersecurity laws and develop mitigation approaches.
• Lead long‑term regulatory projects and initiatives for AWS and regulated customers.
• Support metrics, data collection, analysis and recommendations.
• Prepare project plans and track compliance projects through completion.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, regulatory affairs, or public‑sector cybersecurity management.
• In‑depth knowledge of KSA cybersecurity frameworks such as NCA and SAMA.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Security Management or related field.
