Data Engineer – Business Intelligence & Big Data

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design and implement highly available Business Intelligence, Big Data and integration solutions. The role involves building ETL pipelines, developing data warehouses, and delivering visual analytics for our clients in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement BI solutions, big‑data pipelines and integration systems using SSIS, SSRS and related Microsoft technologies.
• Debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
• Create, deploy and maintain reports and dashboards using Power‑BI, Tableau or AWS QuickSight.
• Write and optimise relational and multidimensional SQL queries, stored procedures and functions.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse architectures and enforce enterprise standards.
• Extract data from multiple structured and unstructured sources and transform it for analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with ETL tools such as DTS, SSIS (preferred) and SSAS.
• Strong background in SQL Server, including T‑SQL, stored procedures, query tuning and database design.
• Proven experience with data‑visualisation tools (Power‑BI, Tableau, AWS QuickSight).
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
