Data Privacy Specialist – Senior Level

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Privacy Specialist to lead the design and implementation of privacy frameworks across the enterprise. You will ensure compliance with global privacy regulations, conduct risk assessments, and embed privacy principles into all business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data privacy policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct privacy compliance assessments, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and privacy risk assessments.
• Maintain personal data inventories and data flow maps.
• Ensure adherence to GDPR, PDPL, CCPA and other applicable regulations.
• Promote Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, Security, Risk, and business teams on privacy initiatives.
• Deliver privacy awareness and training programs.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in data privacy, data protection, or information governance.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, PDPL, CCPA or similar regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with DPIAs, privacy risk assessments, data mapping and compliance assessments.
• Proven ability to develop and implement privacy policies and governance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
