Data Solutions and Storage Intern (COOP)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is recruiting a Data Solutions and Storage Intern (COOP) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is designed as onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. It sits within the Data Solutions team, which covers storage solutions, private cloud solutions and cyber resilience solutions, and supports the team's hybrid cloud vision.

Key responsibilities

• Support proposals and customer engagements across projects of different sizes and complexities.
• Engage with HPE Hybrid Cloud Product Management teams to help shape the future portfolio.
• Join early-stage conversations and build capability by working closely with the local team.
• Back the local team on live engagements, from scoping through delivery.
• Gain hands-on experience supporting the team and learn about hybrid cloud solutions from storage to compute at a presales level.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology or another IT-related field.
• Graduating December 2026 and looking for an internship/COOP starting in January 2027.
• Preferred: on track to receive a 2:1 or higher, experience as an active campus leader, and comfort with a hybrid (virtual and face-to-face) environment.

Required skills

• Interest in server and storage hardware, operating systems, networks and communications.
• Understanding of data lakes, megatrends, market demand and storage technologies.
• Knowledge of Fiber Channel and Ethernet networks.
• Ability to write clear documentation of processes, investigations and proposals.
