Delivery Team Leader

About the role

The Delivery Team Leader oversees daily courier operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries across the assigned geographic area. This role combines hands‑on team management with performance monitoring to maintain high service standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for fleet coordination, customer service issues, and exception handling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage courier attendance, shift schedules, and daily workload distribution.
• Monitor daily deliveries, track pending shipments, and ensure route completion.
• Track signing rates, delivery performance, and courier productivity; prepare daily performance reports.
• Conduct pre‑delivery customer calls and resolve delivery‑related complaints.
• Monitor vehicle status, report breakdowns or accidents, and coordinate replacements.
• Verify, document, and control abnormal shipments with proper evidence.
• Enforce company procedures, safety guidelines, and delivery standards.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in last‑mile delivery or logistics.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team‑lead role.

Required skills

• Excel (basic data reporting).
• Route‑planning proficiency.
