About the role
We are seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The role involves supporting dentists across various specialties while maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental clinics for patient procedures.
- Assist dentists in multiple specialties, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Implement and monitor infection prevention, infection control, and sterilization procedures.
- Handle instruments and equipment through the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) when required.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards and patient safety protocols.
Required profile
- Valid SCFHS registration and classification as a Dental Assistant.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a dental assisting role.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to adhering to quality and safety standards.
Required skills
- Infection prevention.
- Infection control.
- Sterilization procedures.
- Experience with CSSD processes.
