Deputy Construction Manager – Residential Zone

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Deputy Construction Manager to support the Construction Manager in delivering residential components of a mixed‑use development. The role focuses on day‑to‑day coordination, progress monitoring and technical oversight of contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing project phases, milestones and construction drawings for residential blocks.
• Supervise daily construction activities, monitor schedule performance and report critical issues.
• Coordinate with MEP, façade and finishes teams to manage sequencing and interfaces.
• Implement QA/QC procedures, support snagging/de‑snagging and maintain records of site instructions and change orders.
• Ensure HSE compliance, report unsafe conditions and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Approximately 18 years of experience in building construction, primarily residential projects.
• Experience working with PMC organisations or large developers on mixed‑use developments.
• Strong site supervision, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of reinforced‑concrete (RC) structures and typical residential building systems.
• Understanding of interior finishes and apartment/villa fit‑out requirements.
• Coordination of MEP services within residential units and common areas.
• Familiarity with local building codes, fire and life‑safety regulations.
