Deputy Practice Lead – PMC

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Deputy Practice Lead for its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) practice. Based in the EMEA region, you will act as a key point of contact, supporting the discipline lead in both business development and project delivery while driving innovative execution strategies for new PMC proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on PMC pursuits across EMEA and act as SME during strategic pursuit reviews.
• Develop and refine execution and alternative delivery strategies for large‑scale projects.
• Support the ongoing development of the Project Management Framework (PMF) and overall PMC practice guidance.
• Administer the EMEA Project Management Community of Practice and contribute to PM training programs.
• Stand in for Project Directors on short‑term assignments, managing projects valued between $200 M and $500 M.
• Participate in strategic reviews, project recovery initiatives, and travel throughout Europe as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience (≈240 months) in project or construction management at a Principal Project Manager level.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects or programmes within budget and schedule.
• Willingness to relocate temporarily for short‑term client support.
