DevOps Engineer – Lead Large-Scale Transformation

About the role

We are looking for a visionary DevOps Engineer to lead a large‑scale DevOps transformation for a governmental client. The role combines strategic assessment, design of a target operating model and hands‑on implementation of a secure, automated framework while coaching the client’s team to build lasting capability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive current‑state analysis of tools, practices and security posture using industry standards such as DORA metrics.
• Identify gaps, user pain points and security vulnerabilities and produce detailed analysis reports.
• Develop a strategic roadmap and action plan to move the organisation toward a DevSecOps operating model.
• Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code and security controls.
• Coach and mentor client teams to adopt best practices and ensure sustainable capability building.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading end‑to‑end DevOps transformations in complex, regulated environments.
• Strong analytical skills to assess maturity and define target operating models.
• Ability to drive cultural change toward DevSecOps and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills for client engagement.
