Digital Transformation Director

About the role

The Digital Transformation Director will lead the government’s strategic push to adopt digital technologies, streamline processes, and foster innovation across all units. Reporting to senior leadership, this role requires a visionary mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate digital trends into actionable roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current digital capabilities, identify gaps, and design scalable solutions to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap, covering technology adoption, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Lead cross‑functional teams through change‑management initiatives, applying frameworks such as ADKAR and Kotter’s 8‑Step Model.
• Manage budgets, conduct cost‑benefit analyses, and allocate resources for large‑scale technology projects.
• Collaborate with C‑suite executives and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of progressive leadership experience in digital transformation, technology strategy, or related fields.
• Proven record of delivering large‑scale digital initiatives within complex organizations.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
