Director Architect – Hospitality Projects

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Director Architect to lead the planning, design and delivery of hospitality projects from concept through completion. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that each project meets brand standards, client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end execution of hospitality architecture projects, from initial concept to handover.
• Oversee architectural design development, ensuring alignment with project objectives, brand guidelines and client requirements.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants and contractors.
• Review and approve design proposals, technical drawings, specifications and all project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities and other stakeholders throughout all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi building regulations, hospitality standards and applicable codes.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality and resource allocation to guarantee successful delivery.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and develop design teams, fostering innovation and professional growth.
• Support business development by participating in client presentations, proposals and strategic planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in design quality, project delivery and operational processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree preferred).
• 15–17 years of professional experience in architecture, with a strong focus on hospitality projects.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale, multidisciplinary design teams.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi building regulations and hospitality industry standards.
• Excellent risk management and project control capabilities.
