Director Business Capability Management

About the role

The Director of Business Capability Management will lead the definition and delivery of internal support system capabilities that enable faster time‑to‑market, improve collection cycles, streamline sales processes and boost operational efficiency across Mobily.

Key responsibilities

• Detail and specify BU internal support system capabilities to be developed by IT, network teams and third‑party vendors.
• Collaborate with technical architecture departments to shape the enterprise architecture and capabilities roadmap.
• Engage business users to gather requirements, propose solutions and finalize specifications.
• Coordinate with business units to collect all requirements related to system capabilities, process enhancement and re‑engineering.
• Define development standards for business processes in line with telecom industry standards.
• Produce high‑quality Requirement Specification Documents (RSD) illustrating needed system capabilities.
• Evaluate new versus existing capabilities to maximize cross‑utilisation.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date enabling platforms library (products, payments, online channels, etc.).
• Develop and agree on a capabilities roadmap with all stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed capability requirements for in‑house initiatives and third‑party procurements.
• Assist business units in articulating internal and vendor‑provided support solutions.
• Draft and participate in RFPs/RFQs with vendors and business committees.
• Perform any other activities assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing business capability or enterprise architecture initiatives within the telecom sector.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Leadership experience, including setting goals, monitoring KPIs and developing direct reports.
• Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and vendor management.
