Director, Corporate Communications

About the role

The Director of Corporate Communications provides strategic leadership to develop and execute communications and media strategies that position the Fund as a leading environmental entity locally, regionally, and globally. This senior role ensures consistent, transparent messaging across all channels, enhancing stakeholder engagement and strengthening the Fund’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the communications team to deliver tasks in line with policies and standards.
• Design and maintain a comprehensive corporate communications framework aligned with the Fund’s mission and national priorities.
• Develop media and public‑relations strategies, manage press releases, interviews, and public statements.
• Oversee internal and external media campaigns, ensuring message consistency with strategic objectives.
• Build and nurture relationships with media agencies, journalists, and influencers to boost the Fund’s visibility.
• Manage the Fund’s digital presence, including website and social platforms, and drive digital storytelling initiatives.
• Utilise analytics tools to measure digital engagement, reach, and audience sentiment.
• Engage key stakeholders such as ministries, NGOs, and strategic partners to align communication priorities.
• Coordinate internal communications, newsletters, and updates to foster an informed organizational culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
• Proven experience leading corporate communications or public‑relations functions, preferably in an environmental or non‑profit setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement and media‑relations expertise.
