Director - Finance and Control

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Director of Finance and Control to strengthen the financial foundation of its City Operations. You will translate operational priorities into robust financial plans, controls, reporting, and insights while partnering with finance and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for City Operations in coordination with QIC Finance.
• Develop service‑charge and cost‑recovery mechanisms, including calculations, reporting and cross‑functional coordination.
• Design and monitor financial KPIs, management information reporting and performance insights for leadership decision‑making.
• Manage budget control and cost tracking, highlighting risks, variances and optimisation opportunities.
• Oversee the invoicing process in collaboration with City Operations teams and QIC central functions.
• Maintain asset registers and general‑ledger integrity, including reconciliations, accruals and period‑close support.
• Coordinate with Finance & Controls, City Operations, QIC Finance and other stakeholders to align and implement financial processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 12+ years of experience in finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting or operational finance.
• Proven experience with service‑charge, cost‑recovery or shared‑services financial models.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, cost control, variance analysis and performance management.
