Director, Finance

About the role

As Director of Finance for Faena Wadi Safar, you will be the strategic steward of the project's financial health, guiding pre‑opening and ongoing operations. You will partner with the General Manager, senior directors, and owners to translate financial insight into decisions that support artistic vision, operational precision, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with operational and business objectives.
• Lead pre‑opening financial planning, including budgets, CAPEX allocations, and operational forecasts.
• Establish financial systems, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and readiness for launch.
• Oversee accurate IFRS‑based reporting, Saudi law compliance, tax obligations, and audit requirements.
• Implement internal controls, monitor budgets, cost centers, and drive revenue integrity and expense management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of precision and transparency.

Required profile

• Senior finance leader with experience in luxury hospitality, resorts, or complex mixed‑use developments.
• Proven expertise in pre‑opening financial management, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Track record of partnering with ownership and senior leadership on KPI definition and financial decision‑making.
• Commitment to talent development, especially among Saudi nationals.
