Director of Corporate Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy to shape the performance and capital‑allocation framework for a diversified conglomerate operating in real estate, construction and industrial sectors. Reporting to the Chairman, you will provide the Board with a single, comparable view of all businesses and drive disciplined execution of the group plan.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a group‑wide strategy, governance and performance‑management framework.
• Consolidate reporting from each business unit into a unified lens for the Board and Chairman.
• Evaluate growth, investment and divestment opportunities on a common return basis.
• Monitor whether strategic initiatives are being executed or merely reported.
• Advise on capital allocation and influence the group‑wide planning process.
• Facilitate difficult conversations with long‑standing business units to align on numbers and expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience building or rebuilding a Group Strategy, Corporate Development or Performance function within a diversified holding or investment platform.
• Hands‑on exposure to real‑asset businesses, preferably both real estate and industrial.
• Operating experience in the GCC region and familiarity with governance in family‑controlled groups.
• Executive maturity to work without line authority and manage senior stakeholders.
