Director of Finance – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh is seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee all financial and purchasing activities for the hotel. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Finance will ensure robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and strategic budgeting in a world‑class luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Finance & Purchasing team, setting performance objectives and monitoring results.
• Develop, implement and maintain internal control systems over income, expenditure, assets and liabilities.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes, coordinating with corporate finance and owners.
• Conduct regular finance meetings with the General Manager and senior hotel management.
• Ensure compliance with group policies, local legal requirements and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Promote staff development, career planning and regular communication through monthly team meetings.
• Safeguard confidential guest, customer and employee data in line with information security standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership within the hospitality or luxury sector.
• Proven ability to manage large finance teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on integrity, responsibility and growth.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management, owners and corporate partners.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of internal control techniques and financial governance.
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and local regulatory requirements.
