Director of Internal Audit – GRC

About the role

Alat is seeking a Director of Internal Audit – GRC to lead its corporate audit function in Riyadh. The role focuses on strengthening governance, risk management, compliance and the overall control environment through high‑quality, risk‑based audit engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver risk‑based GRC audit engagements across the organization.
• Assess governance, risk management and compliance frameworks and identify control gaps.
• Prepare clear, high‑impact audit reports and executive‑level insights for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor remediation plans and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Support enterprise risk assessments and contribute to annual audit planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Approximately 15+ years of experience in internal audit, GRC or related assurance roles.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA or CPA are preferred.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and a strategic perspective.
