Draftsman - Construction Drawings

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting a Draftsman in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to prepare and coordinate technical drawings for construction projects. The role works closely with engineering, construction and project teams and covers layouts, sections, details and as-built drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce detailed construction drawings from engineering designs, specifications and site requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with engineering, construction and project teams, and with MEP disciplines where applicable.
• Prepare layouts, sections, details and as-built drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency and compliance, and incorporate revisions from engineering or site instructions.
• Maintain drawing records and support the project team with drafting and technical documentation.
• Complete drawings accurately and within project deadlines.

Required profile

• Diploma, certificate or qualification in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia and adapt to project and site requirements.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, layouts and technical documentation.
• MEP drafting experience preferred.
• Attention to detail, good coordination and communication skills.
