Draftsman – Golf Course Construction

About the role

The Draftsman will create and maintain detailed technical drawings for golf‑course construction and related infrastructure, working closely with architects, engineers, agronomy teams and contractors to support project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings and BIM models for golf course elements such as tees, greens, fairways, bunkers, lakes, cart paths, bridges and practice facilities.
• Develop irrigation and drainage layouts, including pump‑station drawings, in coordination with engineers and consultants.
• Update and revise drawings to reflect design changes, site conditions and management feedback.
• Produce as‑built drawings, shop drawings and construction documentation for subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to collect measurements and verify field conditions.
• Maintain document control, drawing templates and CAD libraries, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma, associate or bachelor degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• 3–5 years of drafting experience on golf‑course, landscape or civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of grading, earthworks, irrigation, drainage and landscape construction drawings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM and Civil 3D.
• Experience with GIS, SketchUp, Revit (advantageous).
• Good understanding of engineering drawing standards.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
