EHS Specialist – Fire Safety & Chemical Management

About the role

The EHS Specialist will lead fire safety and hazardous chemical management across Sunbulah Group facilities in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure compliance with international best practices, coordinate fire inspections, and drive continuous improvement in safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise fire inspection patrols and maintain inspection checklists.
• Conduct periodic site audits to verify adherence to fire safety standards.
• Advise line management on legal and company fire safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Civil Defense during inspections and fire‑prevention initiatives.
• Develop and enforce hazardous chemical storage and handling procedures.
• Lead a dedicated auxiliary fire‑fighting team and oversee regular fire drills.
• Report safety inspections, recommend corrective actions, and maintain firefighting equipment readiness.

Required profile

• Fire Protection Association Diploma or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Ability to identify fire and chemical hazards and produce preventive reports.
• Experience in training staff on fire prevention and emergency response.
