Electrical Engineer

About the role

Watania Steel is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of electrical systems in an industrial environment. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient and standards‑compliant performance of power and control infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical schematics, layouts and technical drawings.
• Produce technical reports and documentation in line with SEEC and ISO 50001.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct testing, commissioning and inspection of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, particularly ISO 50001.
• Collaborate with mechanical and operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Good knowledge of power systems and control systems.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
