Electrical Foreman

About the role

The Electrical Foreman will lead daily electrical installation activities on construction sites, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with approved drawings and specifications. Reporting to the Electrical Site Engineer, the foreman coordinates the efforts of technicians, skilled workers, and laborers across low‑voltage (LV) and medium‑voltage (MV) systems.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and allocate tasks for electrical technicians, skilled workers, and laborers.
• Execute installations according to drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor manpower utilization and progress against the project schedule.
• Inspect work areas to verify compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other trades to avoid clashes.
• Report daily progress, manpower deployment, material needs, and site issues.
• Ensure availability and proper use of tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Assist in testing, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce HSE procedures.
• Support quality control activities, maintain records, and help prepare snag lists.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising electrical installation teams on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems and related safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Excellent coordination skills with other site disciplines.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
