Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

Oil Chemistry Industrial Company is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The technician maintains and repairs plant electrical systems so that the reaction facility and blending plant run safely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair motors, MCCs, switchgear, lighting and distribution panels
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, MCCs and distribution boards
• Troubleshoot motor circuits, starters, VFDs and control wiring
• Carry out electrical isolations under LOTO for mechanical work
• Test and maintain earthing, lighting and emergency power systems
• Maintain hazardous-area equipment integrity (Ex ratings)
• Record work orders and test results in the CMMS

Required profile

• Technical diploma in Electrical Power or Industrial Electricity
• 1+ year of industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Awareness of hazardous-area (ATEX/IECEx) practice is a plus

Required skills

• Knowledge of LV distribution, motor control and VFDs
• Electrical fault-finding with test instruments
• Reading single-line diagrams and control schematics
• Safe isolation and LOTO practice
